Great episode – the one ‘hack’ that he said he used, index cards to imprint something for him, is _exactly_ why I was successful in college. I would do two things: 1) show up for every class and take notes, and 2) when it was time to study for the test, I would re-write those notes. I hardly ever read anything, rarely studied at all, didn’t stress about it. But those two things took a C student in high school to a 3.7 GPA in college (only Calc 3 and Organic Chemistry 2 knocked me down there), AND I studied less to do it. My high school guidance counsellor said I wasn’t cut out for college, even though I had a 1580 SAT score. I hope they are better educated in this today.
