FTN 80: "Action Over Deliberation" with Syracuse University Professor of Entrepreneurship Johan Wiklund

by Faster Than Normal

This episode of Faster Than Normal is sponsored by one of my favorite fitness tools, FitKit!

I’ve been using a FitKit for the past three years, and won’t travel without them! They are a suite of wellness products to make healthy living easy. Portable, packable, on-the- go kits to encourage exercise, healthy eating and mindful living. I’ve got one in my office, one in my bedroom, and one in my suitcase. Whichever kit you chose, you can take comfort in knowing they have been created by fitness, nutrition and wellness experts with the sole purpose of providing tools and resources to encourage activity, healthy eating and mindful living. All products can be fully branded and customized to meet your needs and budget. They’ll even do volume pricing for corporate gifts!

You get a six-week nutrition plan, six-week workout plan, and 24/7 email access to their trainers and dietitians to ask questions and get advice! There’s truly no excuse anymore for not getting in the best shape of your life, especially with fitKit giving you 20% off with code FTN! Pick one up now! You’ll thank me.

Happy New Year, my favorite neuroatypicals! Welcome to a ridiculously amazing episode!

Say hi to Dr. Johan Wiklund! Dr. Wiklund is the Al Berg Chair and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University.

His research interests include entrepreneurship and mental health as well as the entry, performance, and exit of entrepreneurial firms. He is considered a leading authority in entrepreneurship research with over 60 articles appearing in leading entrepreneurship and management journals and over 20,000 citations.

He’s Editor-in-Chief for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. A prolific advisor of Ph.D. students, he received the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division Mentor Award in 2011.

Most important to us, he’s written several papers and conducted several studies on entrepreneurship and ADHD.

We’re so lucky to have Dr. Wiklund on the podcast today! He touches on such topics like structure (we need it,) ADHD and self-care, why “jobs are for average people” and more. This is an amazing interview – How great to be able to start the new year with it!

Enjoy!
